Faces of Resistance

In 2021, thousands of people took to the streets in Colombia in a national general strike that would last more than 2 months. The government called them‧e‧s "vandals" and considered them enemies. In reality, they were young people, indigenous communities, women, Afrodescendent people and others who were, and still are, fighting to build a more just and dignified country, to fight inequality and to end impunity. In this six-part series, we present some of the faces of this resistance. They tell us their stories and why they are fighting.
